This last week has been pretty low key around here.
It's been super cold but we've managed to break in the trampoline.
Rian's coloring obsession has continued. She gets a kick out me coloring with her. She starts to giggle the sweetest giggle as soon as I put crayon to paper.
I think we did a pretty good job!
However, coloring the dishwasher is frowned upon! By the way, she has managed to color on everything: the tile floor, the kitchen table and chairs, the coffee table, her plastic dishes. You name it, she's colored on it. I think I need to invest in a club-size box of magic eraser pads.
We were on snow watch hoping that it would snow.
Rian practiced making faces.
And making a fishie face...Puffy would be proud.
We bundled up everywhere we went.
We engaged in some friendly nerf wars! (More on this in a later post).
We made some Rudolph and Clarice reindeer cookies, and some bear ones too!
And yes I'm one of those people who doesn't mind if the cookies are slightly burnt! I actually make a small batch of burnt ones!
It's always nap time, right Pinky?!?
So this afternoon it showed that it was snowing and raining here. Yet, I looked outside and nothing. I zoomed in to our street and it was covered in pink indicating a mix of snow and rain... Hmm. I guess technically it was snowing, but because of the wind the snow never hit the ground. And you really had to look hard to see any flurries falling. I saw a total of 3 tiny flurries. So much for the dream of us being snowed in on NYE with Randy. Instead he left for work this evening. Oh well, a girl can dream, right?
Look at cute Maggie is all bundled up in her sweater and coat. I swear she should be in a L.L. Bean catalog.
Warm kisses on a cold cheek
Well that's all folks for our last days of 2014. I hope you all are having a fun and safe NYE! Wishing you all the very best 2015! Until next year...
xoxo
