Yup it's starting to look a lot like Christmas around here at the Harrington house!
Rory wanted so badly to climb on the ladder with Randy. By the way, can I just say that Rory is definitely my dad's grandson. He would wear shorts and flip flops every single day if I let him.
But eventually I sent him inside to put on some pants. I'm not really sure if these two were much help, but they sure were cute running around all the lights!
A snowman on my front porch chalkboard table to welcome us home during the holidays.
Welcome home Mr. C!
My favorite way to dress up a plain window
Right on schedule, Ralphie, our elf made his way back to spend December with us.
Dec 1: We got home from school and errands to find a message from him to the kids and a gift for each of them.
Rory got a foam tree to decorate for his room and Rian got a felt tree that we hung in the family room
Dec 2: The kids found Ralphie in the living room next to some lego figures he colored for us.
Dec 3: Apparently watching Home Alone everyday gave Ralphie an idea. The only problem is that our stairs don't face the front door, they face a wall.
Dec 4: We found him in Rain's room having a tea party with some of her dolls. Actually Rian and I knew he was there way before Rory discovered him in the morning. Rian woke up twice that night and I have a feeling Ralphie had something to do with it.
Dec 5: I found him on my nightstand the next day.
Dec 6: Rory couldn't find him anywhere! He was in the office on a conference call with Santa.
Dec 7: He was having a snack- s'mores and coca-cola...not the healthiest!
We loved having the hot beverage bar for Rory's party so much that we decided to keep it up for the holidays. I just put a fresh piece of packing paper down and added a little touch of Christmas. This is the perfect thing for the cold winter mornings when you just want to curl up on the couch.
{by the way: randy keeps telling me that the song is wrong, but I looked it up. Any thoughts?}
Speaking of curling up on the couch, these two are perfect snugglers on a cold and rainy day.
Rian got a new baby last week from a gift exchange we had with some friends. She is such a sweet little mommy to her babies. She lovingly fixes her new baby's skirt and then feeds her. Except that she insists on carrying them upside down by their ankles. Oops!
Rory spent all day Friday jumping from one Christmas-themed activity to another.
This little elf couldn't handle all the Christmas chaos and needed a little break.
But when she woke up she discovered that our Minnie Mouse angel. She loves Minnie Mouse!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
xoxo
