We had quite the little New Year's Eve celebration here at the Harrington house! After my dreams of being snowed in, building snowmen and maybe having a snowball fight were squashed by the non-existent snow storm, I figured we would just have a quiet night in.
After Randy left for work and the kids ate their dinner and took their baths, we started the night off with a few games of hide-and-seek.
This little leopard was "counting to three" before she took off looking for Rory.
Did I say Rory? I meant Batman! He decided he needed a break before it was his turn to count.
And then about 10:30 the kids were getting tired, and frankly were just beginning to be unpleasant, so I decided that I needed to get our celebration started. Since I didn't plan anything for the kids (they're kids...what do they care that its NYE?), I searched the house for every balloon I could find. Rory and Rian thought the balloons were awesome! {Rory's words, not mine}. A handful of random balloons? Who knew?
At 11:43, Rory started asking when we could use the poppers and noisemakers. I told him when the clock read 11:59 we would start getting them out.
When is 1-1-5-9?
Sixteen minutes from now.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
My little clean up crew.
Happy New Year from our family to yours!!!
xoxo
