Halloween? Really?
I know, right!?! It's mid-June and we're currently in the middle of an excessive heat wave here in Vegas, so why am I posting about Halloween, let alone from last year? Well, I'm trying to play catch up, for one. I also want a place to keep these photos and memories. I know last year was a year for the dumpsters, I still want to look back on the sprinkles of good that we had. So please indulge me while I take a walk down memory lane.
Rian co-hosted with me a little Halloween-theme get together for a few of our girlfriends. Rian and her friends made wreaths, ate snacks and watch Upside Down Magic (which by the way was a super cute movie), while us mom chatted away.

And because quarantine didn't allow us to gather with all our friends like we had in the past, we decided to bring back some oldie-but-goody festivities.

Boo Baskets for the win!

Trick-or-Treat Path. 2020 took away trick-or-treating around the neighborhood so we brought back the good old trick-or-treat path. Our candy station theme was Monster Mash Party.

Little did we know that it was going to be the coldest and windiest day ever. I have to say that I loved seeing all the kids dressed up and excited to see each other, but to be honest it was miserable standing out there. The whole thing lasted maybe 10 minutes because it was sooooooooo cold.

Pumpkin Patch... Can't forget the masks. At least Rory's is fitting for the season... hahaha

And finally pumpkin painting, thanks to our basket boo'ers. OK so we would have done this regardless of quarantine, but it helped break up the day-to-day routine of being home.

Just a heads up, I have a lot more catching up to do. Hint, hint more posts are coming! But for now, I'm going go.
