Happy NYE!!!
Our plans to celebrate tonight are very low-key and simple, and completely kid friendly! I thought I'd share them with you just in case you're looking to for a good time with your little ones.
1. Balloons. Yes balloons! Just blow some up and watch the kids go nuts popping them up into the air. You can even create a balloon drop with them too.
2. Pop Its. Try these instead of fireworks.
3. NYE wear. Whether its a headband or some festive 2017 glasses, the kids like to feel like they're part of the party too!
4. Confetti Poppers. These are really fun for the kids to do as the clock strikes midnight (if they make it that long ;0) !)
5. Glow Sticks. No doubt these are a safer alternative to sparklers. Just dim the lights and watch the fun!
6. Noise Makers. They are an oldie, but goodie. No NYE party is complete without them.
7. A camera. You definitely need a camera to document all the fun. Whether its a camera phone, a disposable or an instant, let the (older) kiddos take a few photos of their own. You never know what they may capture.
Along with all theses items, we are planning on making some pizzas for dinner, making cookies and maybe some ice cream sundaes with the kiddos. There's nothing like a sugar-fueled party to get you to midnight!
