Halloween Festivities 2016

Happy November Everyone!!!

Oh my gosh! I can't believe that our Halloween season is over. After months of discussing costumes, candies and all the fun activities that come along with this time of year, it has come to an end. But before I say goodbye to our Halloween, lets take a look at what went down. So sit back and get comfy because this one is an extra long post.

The kiddos received a package from my parents with some Halloween goodies. Thanks Nama and Papa!!!

The other night the kids were watching Toy Story of Terror on the Disney Channel. And well this was Rian's first time watching it....

We hit up the pumpkin patch one last time on Sunday with my MIL. It was so windy and cold. Check out the scarecrow on the left that is holding on for dear life. Haha!

Us girls just waiting for the boys to finish up on a ride.

The wind was making my allergies go crazy and my poor eyes were killing me. But I love this picture of us.

Playing some games....

...and winning some prizes. Rory won this elephant for Rian because she didn't want to play the games.

We bought a couple of pumpkins for the kiddos on our way out.

Rory's does not like the guts of the pumpkins... Look at the face he is making!

And this one!

Some seeds for roasting.

Now onto the trick-or-treating portion of our festivities.
Introducing Minnie Mouse...

...and Kylo Ren.

Last Thursday the kids participated in a trunk-or-treat event at Rory's school.

And Rory got Kylo Ren's light saber, of course!

Thanks to Nevada Day, Rory had Friday off. We spent the day prepping for our trick-or-treat path event with our playgroup.

Our station... And just when I thought I wasn't going to be able to coordinate the kids's costumes anymore...a colaboration of Star Wars and Mickey Mouse.

Rory with one of his best friends. The perfect pair!

And finally we get to Halloween

I decided to make the kiddos treat bags that matched their costumes.

What do you get when a scarecrow, "Seabass", Kylo Ren and Minnie Mouse get together? The Harringtons! Happy Halloween!!!

Twenty minutes before we headed out, Rian decided she needed a nap.

My complete outfit minus the black tank top I wore.
Shirt (similar) // Hat // Boots

This is all I used for the scarecrow makeup. It was so easy. I did my normal makeup then added the lip cream on my cheeks, nose and lips. I added a little white line along the inner edge of my cheek circles with the elf powder. I drew the black lines and stitches with the cover girl pencil. This was the easiest costume to create and the most comfortable, which is always a bonus!

My friend and her family came over to run around the neighborhood with us.

The kids and I made cupcakes

The kids ran into a school friend while trick-or-treating.

I love this kid so much!!!

I hope everyone had a fun and festive night, I know we did! Thanks for stopping by and checking out our Halloween. :0)
