Happy Friday!!!
I know I'm going out of order here since I haven't posted Rian's 3rd birthday yet. However, I wanted to share our Fourth of July before it was too late, you know like December! Randy worked all weekend, so our holiday weekend was super laid back just the way we like it. By the time Monday rolled around though, Rory could hardly wait for the fireworks.
(I guess it's 1781 over here haha! Left over chalkboard from Rian's photos. Whatever works, right?!?)
A fun little festive lunch for the kids
We picked up some small fireworks for the kids to enjoy on the street, before we headed out to a nearby park to watch the massive ones go off. Rory was so excited to buy fireworks, he went up to the stand with Randy to help decide which ones to get.
I also got some confetti poppers for the kids to play with. Rian still has trouble understanding how they work.
Partners in crime
Rian just said, "Wow! It's me and Mommy!"
Happy 240th Birthday America!!! The kids did awesome watching the sky light up. There were lots of "Wow!"s from Rian and Rory would chime in with "Look that one was green and red! My favorite colors!" The Vegas valley really lights up on the holiday and it is really beautiful. You can see a couple of fireworks going off in the distance.
As always, thanks for stopping by our little spot. I'll have Rian's 3rd birthday up next. Have a great weekend everyone!!!
xoxo
