Christmas Bucket List: 2015 Edition

Happy Friday!

Things are pretty jolly around here with the holiday movies that have been on repeat since the beginning of November, and so has the Christmas music for that matter, holiday shopping is in full swing and the Christmas jammies have been bought. I think it's safe to say that the Christmas season has arrived here at the Harrington house. I have to admit that every year I start to dream up all these wonderful things that we are going to do during the holiday season. And well sometimes everything works out as planned, while other times are just epic fails! So this year I'm taking an easy-peasy (Rory's teacher has him saying that now) approach to the holidays. Rory is at an age where he now makes request to watch certain holiday movies, his Christmas music list is growing and he can really contribute to what traditions he wants to partake in. And as for Rian, she still gets hustled and bustled around trying to take in what this time of year is like for us Harringtons. So here are some items I've included on this year's Christmas Bucket List:

And we can't forget an afternoon picking out our Christmas tree, a morning taking our holiday photos, a trip to visit Santa, and a quick road trip west for our California Christmas to round out the list this year. Like I said  easy-peasy, right?!?

The kids have made a holiday craft already so I don't think I need to include that on the list of festivities.

On a little side note: a couple of months ago I came across this vintage holiday countdown from the December 1958 issue of Family Circle magazine. My vintage-loving side fell in love with it (well really the whole magazine). However, The modern side of me had a good laugh.

Have a fun and festive weekend everyone!
