Happy Saturday Everyone!
Just like the title says, this is full of the randomness of the last few weeks. So here we go...
Rian has now entered the stage of toting some of her babies around with us. A visit to Rory school was not complete without them. Maybe we do need to get a minivan. Just kidding!!! Ha ha, If you know me at all you know my strong dislike of minivans. {But that topic is for another time!!!}
Yup, the struggle of taking care of two babies is real for this toddler mom!
So she dropped them off in my lap for a while.
She means business when it comes to her babies. This was a result of her trying to give me her babies as I was trying to clean up after dinner. Every time I would set them down, she would pick them up and hand them right back to me. So this was my solution...
This has to be one of my absolute favorite pics. Rian taking an us-ie with her bestie, Maggie. And yes, while both of them were on my lap, Rian snap this beauty. I just love the look on their faces:
Maggie: Um, Rian are you sure you know what you're doing?
Rian: Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I do this all the time. Just give me a second.
And there are a ton of tea parties going on around here with lots of pretend hot tea flying through the air.
Coppertone-inspired fashion?!? Some days that's just how it goes!
Rian, I'll be done in a minute!
Basically every evening while I'm making dinner.
Unless I put her on the island. My little helper.
And she now has a spot on my bathroom counter as I get ready in the morning. She sits up there and tries to brush her bed head hair. You would think with such little hair that there's no such thing as bed head, but she wakes up looking like Nick Nolte's mugshot. {You're now going to google his mugshot, aren't you?!?}
A few weeks ago Rory hosted a little lunch for some of his friends. So the night before Rian helped me put the food table together.
I drew the tree, monster truck, caterpillars, flowers and sun while I was holding a very tired, whine-y Rian. So much for being helpful.
The tree was made up of the green paper plates, green grapes, and green apple slices with pretzels as the trunk. {I made a little goof though: I meant to get pretzel sticks, and accidentally grabbed the mini twists instead...oops!} Each cupcake liner had two cookies in it and those made the caterpillar's body. Note to self: next time don't put the dessert upfront where little hands can grab them! Lesson learned.
The monster truck's tires were cheese quesadillas and chicken quesadillas.
The sun was made up of tortilla chips and baby carrots. The flower centers were salsa, sour cream and homemade guacamole!
Speaking of Mr. Rory...
He went with me to my hair appointment so that my girl could clean up his shaggy do. He was not thrilled about it as he hates when we cut his hair.
This was the first time we took him to someone to have his hair cut. And this was the last time we would see his cute little face while he was in the chair.
This sums up how it went.
He wouldn't even look up to take an after pic. As soon as he jumped down out of the chair he threw his Dodger cap on!
One of his favorite activities right now... playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Donetello is his favorite.
Both kiddos love doing puzzles
And yes it was me, not Randy, who dressed the kids in Star Wars tees on the same day!
In an effort to make running a little more fun, Randy and Rory ride their bikes as I run along pushing Rian in the jogging stroller. Funny thing is, originally Randy was suppose to run with me. But hey this works too! So three to four times a week you can find us Harringtons running (or riding) wild in the streets of our neighborhood!
She's got the easy part!
As I was snapping the pic above^^^, I could hear this weird scratching sound. So I turned around to face the house and I found the creepy little doggie in the window {aka Maggie}.
So this is very random...
But my lovely friend, Kandace pointed out to me that both she and I get these little tiny wrinkles on the inside of our left wrist and forearm after holding our youngest kiddos. I know it's kinda hard to see them in the pic, but they're very noticeable right after we've been holding the kids. They fade a little after a few hours but they never go away. I never got them with Rory, at least I never noticed if I did. But does anyone know how to get rid of them??? I'm actually afraid that they might be tiny stretch marks instead of wrinkles. :0(

Yesterday was a rainy day here in Vegas.
It was raining when we were leaving a friend's house and Rory was more than excited to pull out an umbrella.
As soon as we got home he upgraded to a much larger umbrella when we went on the hunt for some puddles to splash in!
And finally, this past week marked the 10 year anniversary of Pinky joining our family. A lot has happened since then and she has been
This was taken the day we brought her home! She was a itty-bitty thing, weighing in at 2 1/2 pounds. {She was the runt of her litter}
{And yes those are framed Star Wars movie posters, I'm happy to say that they have not donned the walls of our living room since our apartment.}
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all are enjoying your weekend! See you guys later!!!
xoxo
