Hi There!
I hope you all are enjoying the final days of 2015. We are keeping things super low key and easy around here. So during this down time I'm sharing with you our Christmas and the week leading to it.
Oh Ralphie! We had to say goodbye to him this past week, but he did not leave without some final shenanigans.

Once again he had to put up Harringtonville because I didn't get around to it. I really like the chimney smoke, Ralphie!
Knowing that Ralphie had to leave the next day, Rory and I decided it would be a great idea to make him a scarf for his long flight back to the North Pole. We placed it under the tree with all the other gifts. Merry Christmas Ralphie!!!

The next morning Rory found this on the living room couch.
Thanks for the scarf. See you next year. Merry Christmas. -Ralphie
It looks like it fit him.
Rory's picture with Santa from the Polar Express Day at school. Funny story: When Rory was telling me about his day and all the things they did, he said that Santa came to visit his class. "Yeah but it wasn't really Santa. It was just a guy in a costume." "Did you tell him what you wanted for Christmas?" "Yeah, I played along. I told him I wanted a telescope!"
We had one last thing to do on Christmas Eve...visit Santa!
Santa's watching kids!!! Poor Maggie
Making reindeer food to sprinkle on the front lawn
Baking cookies for Santa
Milk and cookies and eight tiny carrots for eight tiny reindeer, of course. And our Harrington tradition of a ding dong, a twinkie and a can of coke.
The doggies circling the table with Santa's goodies. I'm watching you girls!!!
And while we didn't get a white Christmas, it did however snow that morning.
Our stockings all stuffed with goodies.
Christmas morning went a little something like this... Rory running into our room waking me up jumping with excitement that Santa had come! After waking Randy up I headed to Rian's room to get her. She WAS NOT HAPPY. She refused to walk and decided that laying in the hallway was a much better idea. That was until she heard Rory screaming with joy over what Santa left them.
Santa brought Rory a bike and Rian a mess-free art station...
...Rory's telescope and a scooter for Rian!
Opening the gift Rory gave her. Her very own Legos (with a Frozen shirt he also picked out for her).
Rian gave him a transforming Batmobile that he had on his list.
Helping Randy open Christmas Vacation moose mugs that I got him!
Watching Christmas Vacation on the personalized bean bag chairs from my MIL. Thanks Grammie!

And well he took his bike for a spin... into a neighbor's bush. In all fairness he said that he was about to hit a car and decided that crashing into the bushes was a better idea. A few months ago a neighbor boy, who is Rory's age, crashed his bike into my car and left a teeny tiny dent in my bumper. And that poor little boy was devastated that he hit my car. Rory said that he didn't want to hit a car and feel bad like the little boy.
She makes looking so cute look so easy!
One of the gifts from Randy! He knows I'll always be a Cali girl! California Love
And well that was our Christmas. As the kiddos get older, Christmas gets that much better watching their excitement and just knowing how blessed we truly are. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of 2015.
Thanks for following along with us on this little journey and letting me share the moments of our lives. You guys have always been so positive and supportive and I thank you! See you next year!!!
xoxo
