We have been keeping ourselves busy around here lately. Between doctors visits (both scheduled and unscheduled) and school activities and outings, it should be no surprise that I can't believe it's already May!!! Yay for May...wink wink!
Rory had a dentist appointment where the dentist showed him how to flick a loose tooth out of his mouth. His poor tooth had been loose for 7, yes 7, months. The permanent tooth had already come in and that baby tooth had no plans of vacating it's spot any time soon. So that baby tooth went flying as Rory flicked it, just like the dentist showed him!
"Tooth Fairy, I lost 7 teeth. The dentist helped me with pulling it out of my mouth. It was loose for 7 months. I plan to buy LEGOs with my money." The dentist put his loose tooth in a "tooth" capsule so that he could take it home.
A "turtle" dollar from the Tooth Fairy
And this sad little girl decided to stick 3 teeny tiny beads into her ear right before we were leaving to pick Rory up from school. I said "put your shoes on". Not "put 3 beads in your ear"! I know they totally sound the same, right?!?
Getting some homework done before the doctor came in.
And the popsicle! Dr. Popsicle came through for them. Rory got one too, but he finished it before we could get to the car.
Rory got to do morning announcements at school. That's him (with the BB-8 backpack) with his teacher and classmate prepping before they started.
Having an epic monster frisbee game with Randy.
Taking advantage of the nice evenings by hitting some golfballs.
Getting her workout on!
In a cookie coma?!? Enjoying a giant cookie at a coffee meet up with some friends!
They are so cute!!! :0)
Her fashion choices... (insert eye-roll) Haha!!! Keep in mind that it was super hot outside and she also tried to wear snowman socks with her flip flops. I nixed the socks. Sorry Chica I have to draw the line somewhere!
Our little So Cal boy! We are ready for some fun in the sun!
Pajama Day at school during Wellness Week. Apparently neither of them understand the importance of a good night's sleep (which was the lesson for that day, hence the kids wearing pjs to school). One's sleepy and the other one's grumpy...I'll let you decide which is which.
Picture Day at school
Spring Mountain Ranch just outside of town. It is so beautiful there. We had Mother's Day photos taken there this past weekend.
We took a few pics of the grounds after we were done to send to Randy.
Rory's being photobombed by Rian's obsession with mannequins. She cannot resist, she has to rub them. And I don't know why! Haha!
Enjoying some time together before bed. They can fight like crazy or jump around like monkeys, but then there are times like this where my heart just melts.
And when your sister is scared and can't fall asleep, you lay on the floor near her bed to make her feel better.
xoxo
