Well hello there! I can't believe we're at the tail end of April. I'm beginning to think that some of you have more hours in the day than I do. Seriously, where is the time going?!? So before I get any further behind I've put together a little highlight reel of April. Enjoy!
Sports...
Rory started his third season of soccer and he loves his team and coaches! He was super excited to have a blue and white jersey this time, instead of the grey and black ones from the previous two seasons. "Blue and white like the Dodgers!"

And well Rian isn't too happy about the early wake up call on Saturdays. She spends the first hour wrapped up in denial.
Sunday mornings are like... // I've mentioned this before, but I promise my kids have beds of their own in their own rooms, yet they seem to always end up on the couch.
If you've been following the blog, you know that Rory got a new bike from Santa this past Christmas. His old bike has been sitting in the garage since then unoccupied. Well leave it up to Rian to decide that it's now hers and she has been slowly learning how to ride. I see a bike remodel in the near future.

To celebrate baseball's Opening Week, Rory's school had MLB Cap day. He decided to go head to toe in blue to represent the Dodgers.

If you're wondering if his letter looks different from the picture above, you are correct. Right after I took the picture above, Rory got up and walked away leaving both the marker and his letter unattended. And if you know anything about Rian and the creative liberties she likes to take, you also know that once again (yes, once again!), she decided to add a little extra to Rory's letter. So instead of having him write a new one, I sat there and traced over his letters in black.
He slept with a golf ball hoping that the TF would leave him some quarters.
Fashion...
Rian discovered my jewelry cabinet and has taken her fashion to a whole new level.
She managed to turn her nightgown into an outfit.
She actually attempted to leave the house wearing a bracelet as a crown on her head.
Even a fashionista needs a day off in yoga pants...
