Rian's 1st Birthday Photos

I have a confession to make: When Rory turned one I was working full-time, and we just finished having our wedding the month before. Now throw in the mix that his birthday is right smack in the middle of the holidays and at the end of it all, I look back and I can't help but feel like his first birthday was a little half-a**ed. So when it was time to think about planning Rian's first birthday and all that goes along with it, I decided I wasn't going to make the same mistake with her. I know because one-year-olds remember their first birthday, right?!?

I spent the better part of four, maybe five, ok it's probably more like six months searching Pinterest trying to find just the right look for Rian's 1st birthday photos. Ok, I sorta starting looking at ideas and may or may not have started a secret board while I was pregnant in the hopes that we were having a girl.

So now that you know all my secrets, here are some of my favorites from her first birthday photo session with Aly Lynn Photography. I couldn't be more happy with them. They were taken at Western Trails Park, which has a rustic look and feel and I thought it was the perfect location to showcase this pretty little girl!
