Rian Turns 4!!!

And just like that we have a four year old!

Rian's crazy, fun, adventurous, and sweet all rolled into one tiny pint-size little girl. She spends her day jumping and moving, pushing boundaries and exploring life. She has a monster voice that she often uses when saying, "I'm gonna eat you!", but can melt your heart when she wraps her arms around you and says, "I wuve you." (I love you). Life is never boring with this girl, that's for sure.

This past Friday was her actual birthday and this mama got up extra early to make a donut run for Rian's favorite donut...chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. I also could not resist a giant pegasus balloon that had rainbow hair and a bouquet of rainbow daisies for my chica.





You'll see why there were only two gifts from us...

...Because she hasn't just yet!


She calls it her phone...


...It's an iPod Touch.


And just when I thought she was only going to play with the iPod Touch...Nope! She's still a four year old little girl after all.




Ok so she really likes her iPod too!!!

That was one long birthday wish!


We had her party with all her girlfriends on Sunday. The girls got their nails painted, played dress up, played a version of pin the tail on the donkey, made paper dolls and had a piñata. Rian loved having all her friends over. Every time she opened the door, she greeted them by yelling their name and throwing her arms around them. The next day she kept asking if her friends were gong to come over again.






All in all I think her party was a success (except for a balloon getting tangled in our ceiling fan and ripping a blade off that then flew across the room.) Sorry Carolyn!!!
