Hello All!
Well we're currently on the road to good ol' Cali for Easter weekend, so I thought I'd do a little blogging while sitting shotgun. I know I was suppose to post more updates a few days ago but instead of the easy, relaxing spring break I thought we were going to have, I was actually busier than I really wanted to be. Anyway, let's move on to what life's been like lately.
My little helper. I went to grab another photo to hang and when I turned around I found that Rian had already decided where it was going to go.
Good job Rian, but that's a little too low.
I'm convinced that she's a monkey. Bananas and climbing top her list of favorite things!
Trying to wake Rory up....again!
She'll try anything. She even tried to tickle his feet and when that didn't work, she jumped up on the couch.
Since Rory got his staples out earlier that day, I guess it's ok to hit him in the head with a hammer?!?
Me and my mini
Hanging out at our neighborhood park
Hippy chick
Poor Randy was trying to watch the Clipper game and well the kids had other plans for him...
He's such a good daddy!
One Saturday night we were hanging out outside and Rory said that he wanted to do a "camp out". So he and I jumped in the car and headed to the market at like 8:00 to get stuff for his camp out. Basically, Rory just wanted to roast marshmallows. By the way- those were the biggest marshmellows I've ever seen.
Sweet moment
Our playgroup has story time at the park and the kids will make a craft that goes with the story. That day they made paper crowns.
Rory and his friend, Tariana
Rory sharing his Legos later that day
The kids still are wearing these paper crowns. I've had to tape them up so many times now, but for some reason they just love them! {thanks Sara!}
I don't know why, but Rian thinks it's so funny when my dad says blah blah blah to her. So months ago Rian was really cranky and my mom sent me a video of my dad saying blah blah blah for Rian. She watches that video over and over.
Another random cold rainy day. Daddy dressed them to go outside because I was too sick to do it. <-----Another reason why there was a delay in blogging. When the weather ping-pongs between cold & rainy, and warm & sunny my allergies go crazy. And this last time they were so bad that I ended up with a sinus infection for 11 days.
Umm Mommy, Daddy dressed me. I was just grateful she had pjs on!
We are trying to train the dogs to not hover around the kitchen table when we are eating, because Pinky jumps up and steals Rian's food. {Yes Pinky, I just ratted you out} Haha I just made a funny! So I thought they were making progress where I didn't have to put them on their leashes while the kids were eating.
I guess I was wrong...
A stop at McDonalds for hot fudge sundaes...
...after waiting in a long line for these. We did the bubble run earlier this month. Ok we attempted to do the run but it was so crowded that you couldn't run. And the kids didn't want to be in the jogging stroller, so I carried Rian for like an hour and Randy had to manuver an empty double-wide stroller through the herds of people. And there wasn't really any bubbles. I think Rian plays with more bubbles in her bath every night. So disappointing.
The kids making dinner for Randy
You remember the sweet little girl with Rory wearing their paper crowns? Well she had a birthday a few weeks ago at an indoor playground.
St. Patrick's Day-themed science experiment at the park where Rory is helping show the group the process.
She could care less about the group experiment. She loves the playgound!
The kids broke up and conducted their own experiment: a packet of kool-aid in each cupcake section, covered with baking soda, and then sprayed with vinegar.
My parents came to visit and Rory couldn't wait for them to arrive.
My mom's uno partner...with her shirt stained with enchilada sauce after sneaking into my mom's leftover dinner.
We got my mom in the trampoline!!!
The kids made rainbow binoculars and went on a leprechaun hunt with our playgroup.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! My cute little Irish boy!
Giving Minnie Mouse a bath
Wrapping her in a towel
Helping make pancakes on a Saturday morning.
Sunnies-selfie
These two were suppose to be in bed asleep, but Rian wanted to watch TV with Rory instead!
Rory! Are you ready yet?!? I can't wait forever!
Some shopping with these two. By the way it's like 6:30 at night and we're obviously inside, there's no need to wear your sunnies, Rian!
She has to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with 3 Minnie Mouses, 1 Mickey Mouse and 1 Daisy Duck
Selfie!
Helping make dinner!
Well that's all folks! Next up will be all of our Spring Break and Easter fun! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend
xoxo
