Is anyone else still recovering from being the Easter bunny? No, just me?!? Ok so we've had a very late night visit from the bunny followed by another visit from the Tooth Fairy (more on that later) this week. I need another break from spring. Haha!
This year we continued our tradition of getting together with our friends for a pizza night and egg hunt. The kids really love this.
So this our eggs filled and a carrot veggie plate, we were ready to head to the park!
Haha! Rian hunting in her swim suit!!!
His bag full of eggs!
Rian drew a My Little Pony with her egg chalk. By the way, Rian traded some of her jelly beans for an egg chalk with her friend Brooklyn. She's not a fan of the jelly bean!
Chasing bubbles
Saturday night we finally dyed eggs. I could not find the dye kits, so we used food coloring using a recipe I found on Real Simple.

Rian made monsters with her eggs.
And when one of Rory's eggs falls and ends up with a dent, you throw a band-aid on it! He thought this was so cool.
And when your "purple" eggs actually turn out brown, you turn one of them into a poop emoji. Haha!
So the kids left the empty eggs out for the Easter Bunny to fill and hide for them.
And the Easter Bunny left the kids baskets full of goodies...
...dog stuffed animals, flip flops, kid-size yeti cups, play-doh, cookies and m&ms.
We decided to stay home this year for Easter, so Rory created his perfect Easter day (that is if he can't go to California).
Big Yawn! Sleepy girl waiting to go look for eggs.
That sleepy little face.
And they're off...
Rian: 22, Rory: 46
The best bunny pancakes I could muster up on 4 hours of sleep.
The cutest preppy girl.
With the cutest ponytail I've ever seen.
And my cute blue bunny.
When you don't want to use the oven to make cupcakes because the air conditioner is on and your cupcakes explode in the toaster oven because you forgot to let it preheat first! Oops!!!
They're still pretty even though they exploded!
Goofballs
My sweet Mags napping so hard.
Round 2 (She was up late with the Easter Bunny)
However, she was not!
And well Rian's new bunny, Mr. Grey got a little colorful. Now he's lovingly referred to as Mr. Doodle Grey!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all enjoyed your Easter. :0)
xoxo
