We're Just Boo'ing Around

I can finally reveal the details of the boo'ing deliveries that we made to our friends Charlie and Jocelyn! These two little kiddos are the cutest and I was thrilled when we got them as our "boo'ing family". I made three total deliveries, one at the beginning of October, another mid-month and the last one on Halloween. I thought this would be more exciting for the kids instead of making one big drop off. So I created little themed bundles for each drop off:

Pumpkin painting

With these little kiddos being 3 1/2 and 2 years old, I thought painting pumpkins would be a great alternative to the traditional craving.

{two pumpkin pie size pumpkins, two sets of paints with paint brushes and a package of different sizes of googly eyes}
{A witch, a cowboy, an astronaut, a silly monster with a nose full of snot. Your pumpkin can be whatever you'd like, you can even take him for a hike. Have fun creating your pumpkin friend and soon another surprise we'll send.}

Night time fun

This bundle had everything they needed to make any family night time stroll full of Halloween fun.

{a cat beanie for Jocelyn and a skull one for Charlie, both beanies glowed in the dark and two pumpkin flashlights}
{As you can see we've made another trip
To offer you a Halloween tip-
When walking the streets at night
Don't forget your pumpkin light
Put your festive hat on tight
For a glow will shine with all its might
We're not done with this boo'ing fun
So keep an eye out for us on the run}

Monsters

The final drop off was monster themed (with a little something special for both of them).

{a puzzle and a on-the-go pack for each of them, a lego pack for Charlie, a Cinderella play-doh for Jocelyn, and mini pretzels all in monster totes!}

There was no tag attached with these since we gave the bags to the kids at our trick-or-treat path even on Halloween morning.

We had so much fun boo'ing these two adorable kids!

Trick, Treating and Halloween Fun!

Well October came and went and we did our very best to fill it with Halloween festivities until the end.

Rory and Rian did their best to make taking photos as tricky as possible for my friend Alyson.

And I pulled a little trick myself and chopped off my hair. I've been wanting to cut my hair short for a while now and so I finally did it.

First you see it...

...then you don't!

Halloween was filled with tons of tick-or-treating. We attended a trick-or-treat path event that our playgroup organized in the morning. Each family decorated a candy station to place along the path. We went with the Ghostbusters of course!

The kids had a blast with each other running around in their costumes. We have such a great group of friends and it was wonderful spending the morning with all of them!

The kiddos enjoying some of their treats
{and yes, I was a ghostbuster too, sorta!}

With their friend Tatiana!

Then we hit the streets in our neighborhood when the sun went down for some real trick-or-treating!

The kids waiting to go t-or-t'ing. Look at that big empty bucket...
Rory is so excited!
Rory did such a great job teaching Rian all about the ins and outs of the night. She ran around the streets like a pro!
Trick-or-treating with Daddy

We made one last stop to the pumpkin patch this past week. This time it was just the four of us, a family tradition.

Rian wanted so badly to go on the ride with Rory...
Waiting for Rory to come down one of the slides
He went up this one a half a dozen times
There she is waiting for him again
She loved this chicken

Good bye October, it's been fun!

I hope you've enjoyed the last of our Halloween haunts! I'll be back soon as November is jammed pack with lots of fun.
