Rian turns three months old

I'm dedicating Rian's three month old post to her many smiles. She is such a happy baby and she has the best gigglish scream. She'll let out a loud wale and just when you think she's going to start crying, she's giggles the cutest little giggle ever.

Our Little Sweet Pea

How old:  3 months

Weight: 10 lbs 3oz plus (no doctor visit this month)
Height: 21 1/2 ins plus (no doctor visit this month)

Clothing size: 3-6 months  
Sleep: Sleep is good. Instead of taking one or two long naps during the day, she takes little cat naps all day long.

Food: Formula. 1-3 oz at a time, about 24 oz a day

Activities: She loves to sit in her activity pod. Not surprising though, Rory loved it too! She'll sit in her chair and Bumbo seat for a little bit, but definitely not as long as her pod. I pulled out the activity mat and she is still warming up to that. She hated the swing, so we passed it on to someone who could use it and I was happy to pass it on and get it out of the family room.

Likes: Right now she likes it when we talk to her. She starts to coo back at us. This is still one of her favorite things. And she absolutely LOVES her bath! Happy baby splashing around!!!

Dislikes: Getting into her carrier and waiting for her bottle. Oh yeah and the tiny matter of beginning stages of teething. It looks like she's like Rory and has already started teething. Bummer!

Mood: Happy!!!
Best moment this week: When she figured out how to splash in her bath. She looked like an angry shark thrashing the water. So cute!

Looking forward to: Putting together her Halloween costume. Pinterest research is in the works. Yippy!

All Rory... With a touch of Rian

I'm incredibly late getting to this post, but I felt that it was a must. With a majority of the posts being about the pregnancy and then Rian, I felt that Rory needed a little blog love!

Two weeks ago was the start of the school year at Rory's school. He goes year round and he actually advanced to the next class back in May, so to him this week was no big deal I'm sure. But for me it was! It means the start of fall and the holidays and more importantly his birthday in just a couple of months. He's growing up so fast and I constantly find myself looking back at his baby pictures. I'm so proud of him and the person he is becoming. He's so sweet and loving and willing to help. He is also so creative and a great problem-solver. And he is the cutest little boy I have ever seen!
