A few years ago my parents invited us to stay at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach with them. We had a beautiful room with a delicious bed that had white linens on it. After a long, exhausting day, I was ready to climb into bed without washing my face and removing my make up. But the thought of waking up to my foundation and mascara smeared across the white pillowcase was motivation enough to climb out of the bed and wash my face. I decided that I was going to take this motivation home with me. The following weekend I went out and bought white pillowcases for our bed. The bonus to the white pillowcases is that you can bleach them so that they stay white and fresh looking.
